Our client, a financial investment advisory firm headquartered in Timonium, Maryland is seeking a Database Developer with experience working with large, complex databases. Job purpose is to maintain database results through the development and maintenance of database systems to meet business needs.

Company needs someone to assist working on specific database assignments on a project by project basis.
Responsibilities
o Responsible for modeling, developing, and optimizing database servers.
o Work closely with application developers to create and implement solutions.
o Build and maintain complex ETL processes in SQL
o Assist with application performance and query tuning.
o Manage indexes across databases to maintain performance while scaling and
designing/implementingnew tables, fields, and stored procedures.
o Managing schema changes across multiple databases.
Qualifications:
o Familiarity with SQL, VB and C+
o Advanced in Access and Excel
o Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced,creativ environment.
o Strong work ethic and able to work effectively independently and in collaborative team environments.
o Hands-on; completes tasks and dependable; proactive in nature.
o Knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline.
o Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal).
o Team player, with a strong sense of ownership and a get things done attitude.
o Detailed-oriented person, who is very meticulous about his/her work.
o Accounting and finance background preferred.
o Willing to work on a contract basis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
