Responsible for all aspects of educational initiatives for administrative and physician leadership development across Carolinas HealthCare System, including assessment, design, development, delivery, evaluation and coaching.
Essential Functions
Designs, develops, delivers, measures, and evaluates educational programs, making revisions and enhancing programs as needed. When appropriate, develops e-learning modules that are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Conducts needs assessment/analysis to identify gaps in skill based competencies for the physician networks.
Prepares measurable program objectives for each program and evaluates effectiveness based on feedback from attendees and leadership.
Provides individual and group coaching with staff members, providers, and members of the management/executive team.
Works with CHS leadership on an annual basis to assess existing educational programs available to all teammates.
Participates in the annual budgeting process.
Coordinates and conducts orientations as assigned by teammate type (new teammate, new provider, new manager, etc.) or subject matter (patient satisfaction, customer service, practice development, etc.).
Coordinates and develops annual educational plan to meet the needs of designated teammates.
Plans marketing strategy for staff members, revises programs based on new requirements or program evaluations.
Participates in committee and special project work to support System initiatives related to Service Recovery.
Exhibits and instills high quality customer service.
Physical Requirements
Work requires intermittent walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift 40 pounds at intervals. Must speak and understand English fluently. Intact sense of sight, hearing, touching and finger dexterity. Ability to use critical thinking skills and an ability to concentrate. Must be able to work with a high volume of activities/projects with short deadlines. Must be able to deal with intense, emotionally charged issues.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelors Degree required. 5 years of experience within the training, educational, organizational development, human resource, management fields or MS, MA or MBA required. Fundamental knowledge of principles of human behavior, adult learning, basic organizational development/management principles/practices and assessment/change methodologies required. Certifications with various vendor programs such as DDI (Developmental Dimensions International), Blanchard Situational Leadership, Work Place Big Five, Blessing White, TRP (Totally responsible Person) or MBS (Management By Strengths) to administer and interpret various diagnostic instruments such as MBTI, FIRO-B, Benchmarks, and/or NEO-PI desired. Excellent planning, prioritization, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, team work and computer/technical skills. Coaching, career development, team effectiveness and leadership development skills are critical. Operational management experience required. Familiarity with patient/customer satisfaction survey processes highly preferred. Experience working with a customer service or patient satisfaction tool such as Press Ganey, PRC or other industry tool is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
