Key Role:
Provide subject matter expertise to logistics and supply chain equipment management for a military client. Apply military equipment management knowledge to assess HAF 23-series publications for content to validate that the content provides clear and concise requirements, assigns appropriate accountability and responsibilities, and is consistent with higher and parallel authority direction and provide draft text to resolve any identified gaps. Provide recommendations and draft text for new and revised policy, implementation direction, guidance, and processes for the equipment management accountability. Draft staff package documentation for coordination on new and revised DoD, Joint staff, inter-service agency, Air Force, and major command publications regardless of type, including policy, direction, guides, and templates associated with equipment management. Provide equipment management subject matter expertise to groups and project teams, including facilitation, development of agendas, preparing and coordinating pre-event documents and briefs, taking minutes notes, and presenting briefs. Present concise assessments to management of trends and associated impacts and recommend revised, new guidance, or process improvements.
Basic
Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with DoD equipment management
-Experience in collaborating with various levels of logistics staffs, including DoD agencies and activities, such as services, wholesale, and retail supply
-Experience with Microsoft Office, Project and SharePoint
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent analytical skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
