Manage a Purchasing team in Smyrna, TN to reach quality, productivity, reliabiltiy of supply, and to develop innovation when applicable in relation with internal partners objectives. Manages several buyers and senior buyers.
1. Manage and develop his/her team, annual appraisal, training plans, bonus objectives, people review preparation, competencies evaluation and development plan, allocate qualitiative and quantitative resources on dedicated priorities.
2. Lead his/her team''s performance in terms of commodity strategy execution on his/her perimeter.
3. Lead the implementation of Purchasing function, group priorities, directives, procedures in his/her perimeter.
4. Provide expected level of quality, productivity and innovation (when applicable) to his/her internal partners, Industrial Excellence, Supply Chain, Industrial & OCP.
5. Organize active suppliers management and K&C; Suppliers by delegation of Commodity Management with his/her team within commodity guidlines and for the global perimeter of the supplier : global negotiation, business review, quality follow up.
6. Manage of P&L; materials productivity on his/her perimeter, propose actions ( QVE, Rebalancing, Concentration, Lean@Supplier, etc.) for the portfolio.
7) Implement Purchasing Step-Up initiatives in the perimeter.
8) Assess supply risk to the portfolio and implement strategies to mitigate.
9) Support company''s cash objectives relative to Purchasing, e.g., payment terms, inventory days, consignment, etc.
