Quality Engineer needed for a multibillion dollar Tier 1 automotive supplier in the Metro Detroit area. Looking for an Quality Engineer with 5
years experience with: APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, PFMEAs, GD&T, Control Plans. The Director of Quality is looking to fill this position ASAP. Preference will go to candidates with welding, assembly and stamping experience.
Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer
New Product Launches
Identify and drive corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
Direct the APQP process in accordance with customer requirements.
Compile PPAP package and coordinate submission to customer.
Requirements for the Quality Engineer
Excellent with GD&T
excellent with manufacturing and assembly process and procedures.
Experience with welded products.
