Job Description
Support & Assist Quality Department in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system
Manage document control system including; forms, procedures, quality records, quality alerts, etc.
Preparation of quality reports including; scrap rates, supplier performance, performance to customer, audit status
Support/lead resolution of customer concerns by facilitating 8D problem solving events (containment, root cause identification, corrective and preventive actions)
Support/lead continual improvement efforts with cross functional teams
Lead PPAP preparation (layouts/FMEA/Control plans/Flow charts/SPC/MSA)
Support maintained ISO/TS 16949 and ISO EN 14001 certification
Lead internal audit process and participate in third party certification audits
Working with SAP or similar system
Support incoming, outgoing and floor inspection processes as required
Activity expectations are: 50 % shop floor (examination/inspections/approvals/audit) ---50% desk activities (documentation preparation/reporting etc.)
Job Requirements
RAB/QSA Certified Internal Auditor
Minimum 3 years automotive related work experience in automotive machining environment
Use of common metrology equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gage, thread gages, etc.
Technical understanding of machining processes in a production environment
ISO/TS 16949 and ISO EN 14001
SAP software experience preferred
PPAP - AIAG Compliance
Word/Excel/Power Point Intermediate to Advanced
MiniTab or other quality related software
CMM report reading
GD&T knowledge
Knowledge of hardness testing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
