Position Description

BR&T Materials & Manufacturing Technology is looking for Chemical/Contamination engineers for our Chemical Technology group. Responsibilities will have an emphasis on completing the development, demonstration and transition of innovative sealant formulations that have exceptional functional properties and on-demand cure capabilities and fluids and lubricants with exceptional lubricity, viscosity and material compatibility. The successful candidate will be: energetic; driven; handy in the lab; able to work independently and in a team; and able to work special projects with minimal instruction. The selected applicant will design test set-ups, obtain data, and provide solutions to a variety of technical research problems. He/she will contribute to the completion of specific project milestones; and his or her results, decisions, and recommendations will be used to ensure that the projects stay on-time and on-budget. Required experience and skills: BS in a relevant engineering or science field (preferably chemical engineering, chemistry, or materials science); hands-on chemical or materials research and development lab experience (internships or regular employment); good communication skills (oral and written); demonstrated knowledge of designed experiments methodology; and willingness, as needed, to travel and handle some daily schedule variations (start and end times).

Engineering Processes
Complete knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Complete knowledge of the interaction between departments/ disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).

Fuels and Lubricants
Complete knowledge of aircraft fuels and lubricants (e.g., greases or dry film).

Materials Engr Principles
Complete ability to apply knowledge of materials engineering and scientific principles to develop, design, analyze, test, and validate solutions for complex systems, sub-systems and designs.
Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Typical Education/Experience
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
