Our client, located west of Boston, is looking for a freelance proofreader to work on site, full-time, for approximately 6 months. In this role, you will be working as a member of the Ecommerce team to help create a great web experience for customers by creating product copy that is engaging, clear and compelling.
Responsibilities will include editing and some writing of copy for accuracy and clarity, proofing for grammar, spelling, punctuation, inconsistencies and clarity, following and maintaining copy guidelines and branding standards and work with other divisions to ensure customers have the best user experience possible.
To qualify, you should have 3
years of editing, writing and managing online content, outstanding written communication skills and the ability to become a product expert, be highly organized and able to multi-task in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment, all while adhering to a high level of corporate standards. In addition, you should be familiar with UX and web writing best practice and have solid experience and a strong comfort level collaborating with all levels of staff and a multitude of departments within the organization.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
