Job Summary
This position reports to the Production Manager and assists in administering and directing the maintenance planning and scheduling functions in a safe, cost effective, and timely manner. This position is accountable for the effective utilization and administration of both the computerized maintenance management system and the tracking system for planning, scheduling, spending, and reporting of maintenance activities and project work. This position maintains liaison and coordination between the production, maintenance, and other support groups and maintains appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results of work completed. This positions trains and assists the maintenance staff to ensure the quality/quantity of work performed meets the necessary requirements to meet operational goals.
Responsibilities
Ensures the development, maintenance, and recording of a parts list and information library for all assigned equipment.
Maintains computerized maintenance management system and database for record keeping, preventative/predictive reporting purposes. Inspects moving parts and conducts audits on repairs and PMs.
Coordinates with all departments and FGHQ Scheduler to ensure Preventative Maintenance (PMs), special projects, and corrective maintenance will meet all customer and production needs and deadlines.
Schedules, plans, and prioritizes work for the maintenance team to ensure maximum operating efficiencies are maintained to meet minimal downtime, quality levels, safety performance, and cost control. Oversees all assignments to ensure the jobs are completed to specification and customer satisfaction.
Provides technical services to ensure assigned projects are developed, managed, and executed within the cost and time frame required and in conformance with applicable codes and standards of safety, quality, sanitation, and environmental protection.
Under the direction of the Production Manager ensures department costs align with the maintenance budget. Assists with identifying capital projects, repairs, and new projects.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
