Sr. SW Engineer - Storage/Distributed Systems

Well funded Pre-IPO start up located in Mountain View, CA is looking for a Sr. SW Engineer with storage / distributed systems experience who will play an integral part in drivign and shaping the future of our private cloud products.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement cloud storage solutions in a team environment
Develop software solutions to integrate enterprise storage into private clouds
Provide expert trouble shooting and performance tuning of current and future storage solutions.
Handle top tier escalation for customer storage issues
Mentor junior teammates
Who You Are/What You've Done/Requirements:

years experience operating and trouble shooting Linux systems
Experience with Standard internet protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, SNMP etc.)
Experience with storage protocols, solutions and file systems (ISCSI, SAN, LVM, Ceph, NFS, NetApp, XFS)
Experience working with distributed systems
Self-starter capable of navigating and quickly understanding complex technologies
Proficiency in one of the following languages: ruby, python or perl
Proficiency in a modern language such as Java, C+
or C#
Bachelor's Degree or EquivalentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
