Responsibilities
Consult domestic and global clients on compliance with all aspects of the international, U.S. federal, state, and multistate tax regulations. Prepare international, federal, and state tax returns and other tax documents, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements. Analyze accounting records and financial statements of corporate clients to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards while performing review and compilation procedures. Interacts with clients to gather and analyze their financial information and to make recommendations on best practices. Resolve clients tax-related issues. Assist an audit manager with audits, preparation of audit documents, and application of audit procedures. Represent individual and corporate clients in the IRS and FTB audits, examinations, notices and Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (OVDI). Respond, on behalf of clients, to written and oral inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
2 years of experience as Accountant, Supervisor or related position.
Experience preparing international tax returns.
Experience preparing complex tax returns, including partnership returns with special allocations, trust and estate returns, or multi-state returns.
Experience preparing international portions of the US federal income tax returns, including Forms 1120F, 5471, 8858, 8865, and disclosure statements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
