This position manages production programs as well as follow on NPI programs; responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity following Entry into Service. Serves as a lead for Customer Support individuals who are responsible for the administration and execution of production programs. The team assumes primary responsibility for program leadership, commitment to program success, and building solid business relationships. Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas inside and outside the organization to develop improvement plans and drive actions in support of customer satisfaction objectives established by the Aerospace Customer Business Development team. Coordinate management and technical decisions, while effectively arbitrating and resolving problems associated with production products and follow-on projects. Assist in development of internal strategic plans. Interprets, executes and manages company-wide division/unit- wide modifications to policies and procedures. Utilizes PDPR s to ensure conformance to organization s goal and initiatives and ensures timely completion. Manage and update customer scorecards.
Manages the timely execution and administration of the business unit s contractual commitments with its customer, to ensure these requirements are reviewed, and implemented internally, and to manage customer/market activity in support of business unit objectives.
May supervise Customer Support and / or Program Management team members
Interprets, executes and establishes operating policies and processes and participates in establishing and administering many division wide initiatives.
Creates policy deployment objectives and initiatives for policy deployment for their organization.
Incorporate ACE processes and tools into daily work and process improvement activities
Serves as customer advocate for product development, production support issues and repair and overhaul.
Participate in all aspects of strategic Management Policy Development and Deployment that is chartered with achieving Business Unit sales growth objectives through development of new business processes.
Provides leadership and consultation to program management and staff in matters related to intradepartmental communication, understanding of overall departmental goals and objectives, and individual roles and responsibilities in this regard.
Perform other related duties as requirements develop.
Ensure compliance with UTC Aerospace EHS and Ethical Policies and with Federal, State and local laws.

Degree in engineering discipline, and/or business administration preferred
