In this role, the Data & Content Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of core property content, coordinating customer activations and specialized reporting needs.
This person will report to Data Services management within IT organization.
Responsibilities:
Development of standards and best practices related to core property content, including names, addresses, brand/chain affiliations, geocode and GDS-related data.
Ensuring the ongoing accuracy and completeness of core property content.
Assisting the Data Services team with customer activations and renewals, subscription updates, etc.
Participating in the evaluation and ongoing improvement of internal processes as related to customer and asset activation
Assisting Finance with billing reconciliation and research
Assisting the Data Service team with the preparation and review of custom reports and analysis
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience managing customer content and/or application data in an enterprise setting
Proficiency with the preparation of basic summary and detail reports
Experience using the more advanced capabilities of Microsoft Excel, including built-in functions for performing simple and aggregate calculations, string manipulation, value lookups, data linking, etc.
Basic command of SQL, including the ability to write simple queries and perform basic data manipulation tasks
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Attention to detail and experience with research and troubleshooting complex data
Ability to self-sufficiently manage tasks and schedules
Experience with Microsoft Access is a PLUS
Familiarity with the travel and hospitality industry (hotel, air, car, travel agencies, etc.) is a PLUSEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
