Job Description:
Develop programs to market the property to prospective customers. Create alternative entertainment opportunities as rewards to current players to drive casino admissions. Design promotions and event programs for presentation in prospectus/ proforma format for senior management approval. Research and create IGC submission documents for state regulatory approval. Implement all aspects of promotion/event (i.e., timeframe, collateral, itinerary, volunteers, food, and entertainment, RSVP, inter-departmental communication). Organize support staff for events.Maintain files/photo library for all promotions & events. Establish partnerships/sponsorships with external vendors/community alliances; develop program details and supporting materials.Monitor and analyze annual department expenditures; provide monthly status report of event/promotion performance. Generate accounting accruals for monthly event expenses. Coordinate check request payments for various event expenses. Facilitate and oversee media remotes and promotions in property outlets. Generate memos/news boards to communicate programs property-wide. Support Department Management, as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Computer knowledge; Microsoft applications. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Comfortable with people of varying backgrounds, ages, and abilities. Communication and organizational skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a Louisiana State Gaming License.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
