The ideal VAS (Value Added Services) processor acts independently under general direction, uses good judgment in all decisions and actions and is committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.
The primary job function is supporting the Hanging Bulk and Flat Sorter operations. Thses positions will also require regular processing duties. These are full time positions, must be willing to work flexible hours as start times may fluctuate between 11:00AM to 3:00PM depending on freight levels.
Responsibilities
Unpack and sort merchandise
Print tickets and utilize Purchase Order information
Ensure physical inventory matches logical inventory in Distribution Center warehouse management system
Maintain compliance to Floor Ready standards when performing audits and applying value added services (VAS) such as tickets and sensor tags
Pack and ship merchandise
Utilize best practices following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quick Reference Cards (QRCs)
Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources
Provide minimal direction for daily transfers and agency staff, as appropriate
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer and Radio Frequency (RF) device skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
