Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, but following existing policies and procedures as well as all applicable banking laws and regulations, including BSA and AML, is responsible for the preparation of loan documents for various loan types. Maintains all data files and loan documents in a complete and organized manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepares loan documents for the retail banking network or validates contracts for the dealer network. This duty is performed daily, about 55% of the time.
2. Answers routine inquiries and questions from customers, dealer network, and banking center personnel related to loan documents, payment information, and title work. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
3. Logs title work and prepares files to be sent to the Loan Servicing Department. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
4. Responsible for accurate and timely input of loan applications into the loan application manager system. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
5. Completes special projects within Consumer Lending. This duty is performed monthly, about 5% of the time.
6. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Education & Other Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 0 to 6 months related experience or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few known variables in situations of a routine nature.
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Basic: 10-Key, Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing
