Summary:
The primary role of the QC Technician is to conduct entry-level sampling and sample testing using technical knowledge, experience, and education. Additionally, this role will assist with higher level testing with supervisor guidance, calibrate testing machinery, and prepare required reporting.
# Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Gather and test samples within contractual and company requirements.
Conduct gradation testing.
Assist other technicians with various sampling and testing activities.
Clean and calibrate testing equipment.
Accurately update information databases and report applicable testing data.
Willingness and ability to obtain certifications applicable to work being conducted.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Six (6) months to a year aggregate sampling/testing-related experience
WAQTC, ACI, and Nuclear certifications (Preferred)
Knowledge of Quality Assurance requirements
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to communicate effectively through various media
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving material variables
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Ability and willingness to obtain relevant certification within six months

BALANCE - including standing and walking on extremely slick and uneven surfaces while carrying.
VISION- 20/40 corrected vision to see moving safety hazards, moving equipment, vehicles, and obstructions
HEARING - corrected to hear verbal safety warnings and instructions from coworkers

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
