Job Details:
Responsible for facilitating the registration process for patients acquiring hospital services. Obtains clinical, demographic and financial information from patients and updates pertinent information in the computer.Verifies accuracy of all registration information. Initiates service requisitions (routing slips) and directs patient to the appropriate areas for services. Secures appropriate signatures from the patient and/or responsible party on any required forms.Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments.Associates Degree preferred;High School diploma or equivalent required. Three yearsexperience in Healthcare or Insurance industry preferred; previous customer servicebackground required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
