We are sourcing for Mechanical Engineers to fill a long term contract opportunity (possible temp-to-direct) in the Richmond VA area.
Will ensure that the highest level of design quality, integrity, and performance are maintained with strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
Review client specifications, prepare equipment data sheets, prepare equipment inquiry/purchase requisitions & technical bid evaluations, review vendor drawings & data, and interface with other disciplines.
Perform system analyses, establish user requirements, analyze system functional and performance requirments, define design criteria, and establish system layouts and designs.
Assist in defining project scope and preparing proposals.
Assist to prepare the Mechanical portion of work packages.
Qualifications:
BS degree in mechanical Engineering
4 - 10 years of Engineering experince.
Several projects should be industrial in nature (chemical, pharmaeutical, pulp and paper, tobacco, power, refinery,e ct.)
Experience with process and utility piping , instrumentation, and piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs).
Good working knowledge of API, ASME, ANSI, PIP, MSS, and other process industry codes and standards is required.
Equipment experience to include pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air cooled heat exchangers, fans, electric motors, agitators, utility piping, etc.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively listen and communicate with clients.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
