Entry Level Engineer

Seeking a full-time, entry level Engineer for a growing, fast paced company that designs and manufactures custom bearing and sealing systems for fluid handling equipment. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks in support of both Engineering and Sales and interfacing directly with customers.
Responsibilities:
Train in various departments, including order processing (order entry through fulfillment) and manufacturing, to learn the business, processes, products, and ERP system
Answer customer calls, provide technical support, and troubleshoot problems
Act as liaison between the administrative office and manufacturing
Design and quote products
Assist in maintaining hard copy and electronic files
Enter data to update/maintain databases
Provide support for technical managers
Support new product development activities
Support product and process improvement activities
Process and QC of outgoing domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx and other carriers as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Adhere to and abide by company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Work experience in technical field, preferably in manufacturing, a plus but not required
Familiar with reading and/or generating engineering drawings
Excellent computer skills, including database use, maintenance, and data entry
Experience with Solidworks or other CAD design software desirable
ERP system experience a plus
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer skills with strong sense of urgency with respect to their needs
Ability to multitask
Willingness to go beyond the job requirements without prodding
Proactive, energetic thinker to bring creative athleticism to a kick-butt, on the way up company!
Willingness to travel on a limited basis
