Job Description
Perform medical and revenue audits to ensure revenue integrity as related to adherance to federal and state regulations, Policies of external payers, coding rules and guidelines.Exercise independent decisions using analytical and problem-solving skills.Provide critical analytical and negotiation support with respect to third party payer reimbursement contracts.
Responsible for conducting quality control audits to ensure data integrity and communicate findings and recommendations, explaining regulatory requirements and overseeing the corrective actions for audits
Job Duties
Serve as subject matter expert
Compile information
Prepares reports and analyses with results of findings with recommendations
Perform subsequent audits to ensure corrective actions were taken
Followup with appropriate health team member for education
Qualifications
BSN or related degree required
Coding certification desired
Clinical experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Commensurate with experience and qualificationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
