Your daily responsibilities include:
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: _Duties include, but are not limited to the following:_
Modify and finalize all department contracts containing legal terms and conditions including purchasing agreements, software license agreements, entertainment agreements, services agreements, employment agreements and leases.
Draft, modify and approve Promotional Rules for casino marketing drawings and special events.
Draft termination letters or amendments to contracts.
File property damage claims with insurance company of guest, monitor and ensure payment is received.
Contract administrator for all contracts of property. Provide contracts requested to departments.
Monitor and respond to all BBB complaints.
Receive and process all Subpoenas served on the property. Use knowledge of due diligence practices and procedures and the ability to analyze and evaluate such due diligence materials.
Act as the Custodian of Records for the property which certifies via signed affidavit that documents provided are copied from originals when requested from subpoena.
Receive and review Writs of Garnishment.
Assist key employees with filing any GCB applications.
Work closely with City of Henderson Licensing Department for various permits and license renewals of the property.
Work closely with outside counsel in all litigation matters. Work with attorneys representing guests for their claim from inception through litigation proceedings.
Conduct weekly strategy meeting with handling attorney on litigation claims.
Assist in special event pre con meetings with various departments to ensure all legal aspects are met.
Contact for GCB on enforcement matters.
Responsible for drafting and monitoring demand for payment letters if guest damages the property.
Devise and provide legal solutions that reduce financial liability, expenses and negative PR for the Company.
Must be able to testify competently in court proceeding.
Implements ideas and best practices as suggested or directed by senior leadership.
Perform other related work as requested.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:

Experience: _ _A minimum of 3 years' experience as a paralegal in a hospitality or related company. Those with extensive contract administration experience are preferred.
EDUCATION: Bachelor''s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS _: _ Must have the following skills:
ability to draft resolutions, agreements, contracts and related documents.
clear, concise and persuasive written communications with excellent grammar.
extensive knowledge in word processing, spreadsheet, telecommunications, presentation and legal research.

ability to apply legal business terms for the protection of the Company when binding legal documents.
basic knowledge of contract boilerplate language and ability to understand and interpret terms and conditions proposed by
vendors and whether such terms should be negotiated.
ability to conduct and analyze research to provide comprehensive applicable legal and regulatory reports to senior management.
ability to negotiate with vendors on terms and conditions of agreements.
ability to understand the historical context of legal matters as it relates to Company business, including the ability to determine
relevant historical information and knowledge of Company's policies and procedures used to obtain such information.
ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive documents and information and maintain confidentiality to protect
Company''s interests.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
