The Business Analyst position reports to the GOMBU Supply Chain Business Manager.
This position provides analytical support to Strategic (Contracts) Management and Procurement Operations activities.

## Position Details
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Conducts business and financial analysis including supplier, spend, market, decision and budget analyses. Analyzes supplier activities, market share changes and swings in business and prepare projections on how these may influence future supplier proposals or negotiations. Develop cost models and other related assessments.
Provides commodity/service expertise and support to Category Managers for sourcing tenders, negotiations and contracts.
Assists in the development of Annual Contracting and Procurement Plans (ACPP).
Supports Procurement/Supply Chain Mgmt teams through benchmarking, cost management, alternative sourcing and supply chain management studies.
Manage Efficiency Effort Projects and Initiatives (Lean Sigma)
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields (Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical)).
Preferred
Qualifications:
3 or more years of direct experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement.
MBA in Supply Chain Mgmt.
Current working knowledge of analytical tools and processes related to Supply Chain Management or business operations. (Ariba, SAP, SIMS, SDMS)
xperience working with Upstream operations in the Energy industry.
Experience working in a highly analytical role managing large volumes of data.
Demonstrated experience in sourcing negotiations, supplier management or contract management.
Lean Sigma Project Experience
