Job Summary
Ensure the quality services and supports are provided on all shifts according to policy, practice, and regulation. Assist in the facility-wide coordination of coverage for all residential areas and monitor the coordination of coverage on all shifts to ensure maximum use of staff, appropriate assignment of staff based upon individual needs, and to ensure all staffing requirements are met. Work closely with all departments communicating issues and resolving problems as they arise.
Responsibilities
Support individuals and staff by ensuring the location operates in an efficient and appropriate manner, providing highest quality of supports and services.
Communicate and work closely with department heads to ensure the homes operate according to policy and practice; that individual supports are implemented according to their plans and to ensure quality supports and services are provided by residential staff.
Through routine walk-throughs on all shifts, monitor individual and employee activities to ensure appropriate behavioral, home living, recreational, and educational programming is being conducted and policy and practice is being followed.
Monitor walk-through reports completed by all shifts to ensure thoroughness, accuracy and to ensure identified problems are appropriately addressed.
Monitor staff assignment and completion of training including orientation, OJT, shift-specific training, and other in-services, based upon assignment.
Maintain close contact with Executive Director regarding issues observed.
Support and assist in the coordination and monitoring of residential staff to include addressing personnel issues, coverage issues and training.
Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of job skills and completed orientation and training classes.
Ability to work responsibly with highly confidential and private information.
Bachelor''s degree in business administration or accounting.
Two years of experience in a supervisory position.
Two years of experience working with people who have an intellectual or developmental disability.
Experience in a residential setting preferred.
Valid and current CPR certification.
Valid driver''s license.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
