Overview:
Applications Engineer / Coil Designer - Processes customer samples from receipt of samples to finished lab report. Design coils, interface with customer. Visualize solutions for customers by synthesizing customer and technical data - making use of all available technology. Be aware of customer goals and be customer driven.

Understand and operate the Company's product line.
Keep the application Lab, testing processes and logistics clean and crisp
Evaluate customer heating requirements based on samples and processes.
Communicate with potential customers at all times and support the selling process
Perform thermal calculations.
Recommend the induction system that meets the customers requirement.
Perform experiments to prove feasibility.
Design and build prototype lab coils
Write reports communicating the results in a manner sufficient to both our customers and internal stakeholders.
Design coils for customer orders:
Inspect finished coils that are ready for shipping and run customer application on production power supply.

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with creating, designing, building, and testing electromechanical systems.
Ability to skillfully use typical hand and machine tools as used in a mechanical fabrication shop to build copper work coils.
Ability to skillfully use typical electronic tools as used in the building and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Typical tools being multimeters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition, and thermal pyrometers
Perform thermal calculations on customer samples with proper considerations for conduction, convection and radiation effects.
Fundamental knowledge of RF is a plus.
Data Acquisition experiences a plus.
Logic control loops and PLC experience a plus.
Temperature measurement experience a plus.
Exemplary Communication Skills, both written and oral, are required
Ability to read and understand technical process requirements
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical circuit diagrams
Ability to write brief technical reports,
Ability to effectively present information to potential clients and customers.
Ability to extract and interpret information from potential clients, and customers.
Experience and Education:
B.S. degree with 7-10 years experience - Electrical, Mechanical, Physics or Materials Engineer
Has worked previously in a lab environment in areas of heat treating, melting and/or forging.
Knowledge of induction heating applications and related technologies, including knowledge of RF.
Personal Project Management experience - Scheduling, estimating, teamwork, and ability to handle a variety of tasks at one time. Thorough understanding of, and familiarity with, Microsoft Office (Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel). Familiarity with CAD software specifically the AutoDesk Package. Understanding and familiarity with a FEA or heat transfer simulation software a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
