Key Role:
Provide technical guidance for Foreign Military Sales (FMS), as required and US Air Force (USAF) programs. Provide analytical support and assistance with system and subsystem engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, data, configuration management, contracting, financial management, test and evaluation, logistics, and other technical integration functions as they relate to the development, implementation, and sustainment of F-16 systems. Serve on and help lead integrated product teams and working groups composed of various functional disciplines engaged in the developing and recommending acquisition streamlining proposals and implementation plans. Provide continuous assessment and evaluation of overall program and individual project goals, objectives, strategies and performance to ensure a sound basis for long-range acquisition program management processes and follow-on system life cycle support planning. Prepare, present, defend, and interpret staff studies to the Division Chief, Program Director, and other management officials. Represent the organization at executive levels within the government and to contractor and industry representatives.
Basic
Qualifications:
-8 years of experience with FMS and acquisitions
-Experience with developing and recommending acquisition streamlining proposals and implementation plans
-Experience with long-range acquisition program management processes and follow-on system life cycle support planning
-Experience with USAF program management
-Secret clearance
Additional
Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree in a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
-Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) or Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
