Scope of Position:
Support the Quality Department objectives by administering continual improvement systems, assisting with root cause analysis, and completing tasks and projects that improve product and process quality and advance the Product Quality Architecture.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Administer the internal Corrective/Preventive Action process, including Customer Complaints and Supplier Corrective Actions
Administer the Experimental Plans process
Lead smaller projects related to Product Quality Architecture and support larger projects as a team member
Qualify as an internal auditor and support the internal audit program
Execute tasks related to Quality issues as directed by the Quality Engineer
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to execute tasks
Travel Requirements (please note if international):
Minimal
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Some overtime may be required
Required Education:
2-year Associates Degree, or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn new computer systems
Ability to read and understand a technical specification or drawing
Must have ability to become Certified Green Belt
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Quality Systems, audits, ISO certifications
Basic statistical understanding
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
Soft Skills:
Solid communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Self-starter, ability to drive projects and tasks to closure

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
