Our client, a provider of high quality natural resource solutions, is looking to add a Natural Resource Technician - Crew Leader to their Full Time team.
We are seeking a leader to manage and work along side Natural Resource Technicians that perform Invasive Plant Management, Bioengineering, Erosion Control, and Vegetation Installation using native plants on various ecological restoration projects, including stream, wetland, and shoreline habitats.
Position is permanent full time. Ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, management, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as well as overnight travel is necessary.
Ability to perform field labor related to ecosystem restoration work and ability to lift 80 pounds is a requirement.
Must be able to work in adverse weather environments, such as extreme heat, rain, and cold weather.
Proficiency in Spanish language is a huge plus but not required.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Wildlife and Fisheries Management program, or equivalent. Other experience may substitute, please describe in detail. Strong plant identification skills are a must.
Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Screen & Drug Screen
