Sr. ETL Developer
Liberty Mutual Personal Insurance Information Management is actively searching for creative Software Developers to work with cutting edge technologies in the collection, transformation and presentation of the high-volume business data that drives our organization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for participating on projects throughout all stages of the development lifecycle. This position requires a creative and technical mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to transform business requirements into technical solutions
Participate in design and code reviews
Develop, debug, or modify source code and unit tests for business applications
Deliver projects on time and with the highest quality
Learn new tools and technologies to improve personal skillset
Create and maintain technical and support documentation
Provide functional, integration and performance testing support
Assist in the troubleshooting of code defects and deployment of timely fixes
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s Degree in technical discipline: preferably Computer Science or Information Systems
Proficiency with Informatica and experience with one or more of the following: SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, IBM DB2
Familiarity with Hadoop, MicroStrategy, other Big Data and Business Intelligence technologies is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with programming concepts and tools
Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards
Previous experience with financial applications is a plus
