JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for an Application Developer (Associate) in Whippany, New Jersey. Lead all design, development and deployment of client facing solutions that support the Prime Brokerage Fixed Income Business. Coordinate with multiple data providers in the CPS and Prime Brokerage space providing trade activity, and position information across various Fixed Income portals and reports. Organize and lead all Quality Assurance, and User Acceptance testing for the Prime Broker Fixed Income Business for client facing Fixed Income Portals and reports. Support Composite Data interfaces that provide Fixed Income data from the Fixed Income Data Reporting Warehouse (FIRW). Coordinate with other application groups on technical architecture and design. Deploy end to end solutions interfacing with multiple teams across several lines of business to agree and implement a common approach where necessary. Translate end user requirements documents into technical requirements, design, and test plans. Lead QA and user groups during SIT and UAT. Support the Application Development process to manage pre and post release expectations, coordinate defect and change requests raised. Ensure Production environment stability, continuous improvement for an improved client experience. Engage and actively support the migration of the Fixed Income portal to the JPMM platform. Deliver on deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Specific Requirements Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in an application development-related occupation. Employer will accept education equivalency prepared by a qualified credential evaluation service. Experience must include: 1. designing and developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, WCF, Java/J2EE, JSP and ASP; 2. proficiency in client side technologies JavaScript, Extjs, Ajax and jQuery; 3. proficiency in database technologies SQL (ANSI and T_SQL), stored procedures, triggers on Sybase and SQL Server 2000; 4. hands-on experience in Winforms,VB and IIS; 5. utilizing Microsoft Visio 2010; and 6. applying Fixed Income Prime Brokerage Business knowledge to software development.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
