An Intern will be placed in various positions in engineering during their internship, which generally lasts no longer than 12 weeks. At the facilities they will have the opportunity to be exposed to facility reliability and maintenance, environmental and utilities, capital projects, and technical processing. As an Intern, you will be integrated into the day-to-day working environment with opportunities to collaborate with our engineering team. As an intern you will be assigned project(s) to complete. These project(s) will consist of current opportunities that Cargill is currently facing in our industry. Interns will be responsible for the results of their own project. Additionally, interns will be required to give appropriate project status updates as well as give a final presentation of findings.
The candidate's assignment will be in Dayton, VA; Nebraska City, NE; Springdale, AR; Beardstown, IL; Ottumwa, IA or various Beef processing locations.
## Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural, Biological Systems, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
Sophomore or Higher Classification
Strong communication, presentation, and people skills
Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Willingness to work in a fast pace plant environment
General Microsoft computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willing to relocate
Right to work in US that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
