The candidate will be managing significant litigation arising from all aspects of the company's business, including coverage, extra-contractual liability, and corporate transactions. Will be communicating and coordinating with senior management of the company, line business management, and business lawyers to develop and execute strategy. Selecting and managing outside counsels and other litigation vendors. Partnering with outside counsel in day-to-day case management and strategic decision-making. Serving as a conduit of communication between outside counsel and in-house clients. Managing costs associated with outside counsel and other litigation activities. Supervising legal assistants with respect to document retrieval and production, file maintenance, and other case management tasks. Participating in the development and implementation of settlement and mediation strategy. Supervising and participating in arbitration, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution strategies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
