Manager of Panel Counsel And Legal Quality Assessment
The candidate will have primary responsibility for supporting the Claim organization?s needs for outside legal services through delivery of an approved list of panel counsel. Will vet prospective counsel and maintain an active pipeline of counsel options to support all Claim lines of business. Management accountabilities include negotiation of rate and retention agreements, on-boarding of new firms, and serving as our business partners? primary point of contact. Lead assessment of legal quality to include file management, effectiveness, guideline compliance and service standards. Included as panel counsel are firms allowed for loss sensitive accounts and the Manager will provide oversight and relationship management for these underwriting exceptions. Finally, will be accountable to maximize use of Staff Legal as part of a common network of legal professionals defending company?s insureds.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
