The candidate will provide legal advice and transactional support relating to company-owned real estate (hotel and non-hotel), including familiarity with all property documents, review of marketing materials and broker agreements, property due diligence, letters of intent, purchase and sale and other agreements, satisfaction of closing conditions, and closing documents. Will provide legal assistance to the operations, owner services, asset management finance and treasury teams responsible for owned, managed, franchised and joint venture properties. Responsibilities range from advising property teams on contract compliance, legal disputes of all kinds, lender workouts, bankruptcies and foreclosures, and extending and amending existing management, franchise and joint venture agreements. Support for architecture, design and construction transactions and disputes/litigation including new hotel and spa and restaurant development and construction, capital renovations, prototype development, and brand conversions, and fitout of corporate facilities. Provide support for leasing of North American corporate offices, including broker retention, site selection, space planning, negotiations, lease negotiation, critical dates, expense audits, billing issues, and disputes, and economic incentives. Will also provide support for legal compliance, hazardous material testing and remediation, sustainability projects, and hotel engineering.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
