This individual will play a key role in assisting to define and execute the Quality Assurance Life Cycle at the firm. This will include Designing, Writing, Executing Test Cases and tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems.
The candidate will also have the capabilities to automate (Operational and Test Automation) and play a key role in eventually developing an automation framework.
The candidate will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives. Candidate must have effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally within a diverse group of staff and user community. Candidate must be able to work productively in teams and to mentor or instruct others while effectively prioritizing their own tasks. Successful candidates will have great technology and problem solving skills, a solid work ethic, and an eagerness to learn in a highly intellectual, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
? Analyze& Convert Business Requirements and/or Technical Designs to detailed Test Strategies / Approaches and Test Case Suites.
? Responsible for the construction and execution of Manual / Automated Testing of Technical, Specialty (Privacy / Security), Functional, Regression and End to End Tests against established releases.
? Coordination of Multi-User testing scenarios and ad-hoc software testing to meet internal and external client quality, compliance and delivery expectations.
? Ability to identify and implement automation solutions (Operational and Execution) with maximum return on investment (ROI) against Quality and Delivery goals.
? Monitor / Maintain / Execute Automation Frameworks.
? Development / Establishment / Execution of firm wide automation framework.
? Contribute to the successful implementation of the AQR Quality Roadmap and it?s efficiencies through test repeatability, automation, etc.
? Key Contributor to the implementation of Quality and Delivery efficiencies through the establishment of AQR Manual Test Case Suites and Automation Frameworks
Requirements
? 3 to 5 years of experience
? Ability to juggle competing priorities
? Knowledge of Test Management and Automation Tools (SoapUI, Test Rail, JIRA, Test Complete, Selenium, QTP, etc.)
? Advanced knowledge in Quality Assurance Frameworks / Best Practices
? Knowledge of Automation Principles and Frameworks
? Knowledge of Business Process Engineering (Nice to Have)
? Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) around Delivery and Quality
? Technically Savvy in SQL Languages, SQL, Java, VB Net, PL/SQL
? Knowledge of CMMi / TMMiEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
