Optimize the performance and efficiency of Facebook worldwide database deployments. Analyze Facebook-specific application data access patterns and workload costs, establishing efficient data management practices. Analyze database management software, working individually, with other Facebook teams and vendors to improve software, including in-house proprietary technology. Responsible for analyzing underlying technical infrastructure - hardware and operating systems, and suggesting and implementing changes for better operation. Create and improve performance management methodology at Facebook. Develop or augment existing frameworks to automate as much as possible the administration of one the largest MySQL installations in the world. Use frameworks to help maintain our ethos of moving fast by facilitating the installation, configuration, upgrades and schema deployment of a highly distributed multi-thousand node MySQL cluster as if it were one on one server. Contribute to the evolution of a best in class backup & recovery framework which accommodates the fast recovery of data. Advise and support operation and engineering teams as necessary. Quickly diagnose server problems and employ preventive measures to maintain high availability servers.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
