The candidate will be responsible for supporting the credit card issuing and servicing businesses within the Consumer Financial Services and Retail Services lines of business, which are part of Consumer Credit Solutions. Responsibilities would include: providing legal advice to the company in the areas of consumer credit and credit card, and payment systems with particular emphasis on federal, state and local statutes and regulations, including banking regulations. Other responsibilities include conducting legal research projects, participating in due diligence investigations, and acting as advisor to operations personnel in interpreting regulations and policies. Strong organizational and diplomatic skills and ability to meet stringent deadlines are required. Provide substantive legal advice on matters for management of the company and its principal subsidiaries to assist them in planning and policy setting. Represent the company and its subsidiaries in court and in out-of-court negotiations and settlements of domestic or foreign legal issues of importance. Within respective area of responsibility or specialization, evaluates the impact of all major changes in the law and assesses the impact on the company's policies and operating procedures. May take an active role in the education and training of less experienced counsel or paralegals. May be recognized, both within the company and among the general legal profession, as an accomplished authority on legal matters.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
