Automotive Buying Agent

Company Name:
NxT Recruitment, LLC
Do you have professional references that will attest to both your integrity AND your sharp negotiation skills?
2. Do you like to flip cars as a hobby?
3. Do you have a background in automotive sales, repair, operations, or wholesaling?
4. Does your personal or professional network include local car dealership managers or owners?

If you answered yes to #1 and at least one other question on the above list, we'd like to talk with you about scouting out private-seller car deals for our dealership. We offer competitive per-vehicle payments that you can earn after work or on weekends according to your schedule.

We are looking for someone who has a professional attitude and a positive, can-do spirit. It's important to us that you deal with private sellers in the community in a professional, ethical manner that reflects well on our business. Also, as a startup, we are continually looking for ways to get smarter and more competitive in our purchasing--so we want to work an outside-the-box thinker.

We envision that most of your buying work--especially at the beginning--would be with private sellers who advertise for sale by owner vehicles. But the main thing is to find good, reliable vehicles at wholesale prices--vehicles that fit our market. So here's a set of job responsibilities that we hope this position will evolve into over the next 3-6 months if you're successful:

Job
Responsibilities:

Locate and identify used vehicles to purchase that fit within our parameters and negotiate purchase price with vendors, making decisions to buy or pass.

Establish relationships with other local dealerships and visit on a regular basis to check on vehicles they are looking to wholesale.

Continually develop new sources of vehicles.

Drive, inspect, and fill out an incoming unit checklist, with the assistance of mechanic we contract with.

Ensure each vehicle we purchase comes with clean title (or full lien release information) and as many sets of keys as seller has in his or her possession.

Communicate with dealership management on a weekly basis to update on buying activity and/or offer suggestions on how we can help you make great purchases for us.

Adhere to the purchasing guidelines and policies as set forth by our management.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
