Position Description
Responsible for reviewing non-PC Skynet files (exposures) for accuracy and upload into Global Exposure
Responsible for completing the run-off process for the remaining monthly bank balances that do not reside in Wall Street Systems and complete the transition of the collateral reporting to PC
Identify and investigate material day over day differences in Global Exposure
Execute various reports in Global Exposure, such as watch list and counterparty ratings, and distribute to the relevant groups
Perform other adjustments and checks in Global Exposure, such as the monthly pro-forma check
Assist with the processing of the new daily and monthly data quality control reports that identify missing or incorrect data
Assist with EDS Workstation processing, including new counterparties, legal hierarchies, etc.
Assist with REM processing, including data attributes, risk hierarchies and security assignments
Liaise with various internal business partners, including credit, IT, risk and trading, in an effort to accurately perform daily functions
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Superb communicator that is resourceful and takes the initiative to solve problems or to enhance functions
Experience in capital markets/financial services required
Experience in credit risk operations preferred
Knowledge of operational functions relating to capital markets industry preferred
Comfortable with internal and external oversight, i.e. internal/external audit, SOX, etc.
Understanding of derivative products, loans and securities preferred
Proficient in Excel
Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle, as well as SQL preferred
Familiarity with Bloomberg, CDS Markit data and credit agency reference data preferred
