The Chief Executive Officer is accountable for all day-to-day operations of the Hospital. This position is responsible for organizing, planning and directing the hospital to ensure that quality patient care is delivered and that the financial integrity of the hospital is sustained. The CEO makes certain compliance with appropriate laws and regulations as well as all policies and procedures set forth by the Governing Board and Medical Staff, and those mandatory by Joint Commission standards.
The CEO is responsible for establishing a culture and environment that enables the hospital to achieve its mission by meeting or surpassing its goals, communicating the hospital mission to all employees, holding employees' accountable for performance, encouraging employees to enhance performance, recognize and reward performance, and being accountable for the operation of assessment, measurement, and improvement of the hospital's performance.
Must haves
Must be current Acute Care CEO.
CEO experience in an acute care environment - at least 100 beds, prefer for profit experience.
No specialty hospitals
No LTAC's
Tenure in each position
Prefer candidates with a for profit background
Hospital experience similar to LifePoint hospitalsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
