And that''s why We Select the Best . In the Forklift Operator role , youwill use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from and within the warehouse.
As a Forklift Operator, you will put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up fork lift. Essential duties following; other duties may be assigned.
Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse.
Maintain accurate records of quantities, pack size and description.
Stack cases and rotate merchandise.
Slot material in designated storage areas.
Pull material to deliver to production lines.
Move finished product from production to designated storage area.
Pull finished product from storage and load on trailers.
Unload material from trailers.
Complete purchase orders.
Utilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select product.
Complete paperwork on transfer of material.
Sweep floor slots.
Change battery in forklift, when applicable.
Complete inspection form on equipment operated.
Date pallets with current date.
Keep work area clean.
Clean spills and re-work damage.
Use case cutter to cut tops off cases.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Certified forklift operator.
Ability to work in temperatures between negative 15 to negative 20 degrees (freezer positions only).
Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
