Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. Analyze business and technical needs and write blueprints and design documents. Review QA test plans and assist customers with implementation and post go-live activities working with support, consulting, and partners. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Maintain released product versions. Develop and deliver Customer Self Service application for Utilities using Web Center, ADF, and SOA Suite. Build native applications for Android and iOS devices as well as develop mobile website for Customer Self Service application. Develop and deploy cloud based solutions.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a software engineer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) J2EE, Java, web services, Oracle Relational Database; 2) Development frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Struts, SAML, and Velocity; 3) SOAP and REST based web services; 4) WebLogic Server; 5) Develop web-based packaged commercial n-tier applications, and web services based integrations such as Self Service application for payments, inquiries, and reports; 6) Oracle WebCenter portal technology - collaboration service, content publisher, analytics, studio, and notification components; 7) Product development life cycle including requirements review, design, estimation, development, testing, and support; 8) Utilities domain.
