We are currently adding a Networking Presales Solutions Engineer - Entry Level - to our team. This position has primary responsibility for supporting the Sirius Sales team by providing pre-sales support for networking products and services at new and existing customers. This position is also responsible for proposing and developing a wide range of technology solutions for Sirius' customers. Duties and responsibilities include:
Assists Sirius Sales Team with pre-sales activities in educating clients with Sirius products
Prepares and delivers client presentations
Provides product demonstration to include implementation/migration planning
Develops product Bill of Material (BoM) based on client requirements
Responsible for developing professional services estimates in support of client projects
Technology Enablement Center (TEC) demonstration/briefings
Develops solutions based on analysis of business and technical requirements
Reviews client hardware configuration to ensure client meets necessary requirements for product upgrades
Develops architecture and design of projects
Performs account management duties to include research, problem solving, technical support, and general maintenance of client relationship
Develops and reviews basic technical manuals for standard install processes that are directly related to specialization and discipline on the job
Develops project scope to include work services estimate, services, resource assignments and allocations, and statements of work for assigned projects
Prepares sales quotations and technical responses to Request of Quotation (RFQs) & Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)
Position Requirements
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
At least two (2) years of technical pre-sales support experience
At least two (2)years of hands on experience with Networking Solutions product
Other Position Requirements
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision, independently and/or as a member of a project team
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with Netformx DesignXpert
Experience with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)
Demonstrated knowledge of the Cisco product line
Demonstrated ability to perform technical skills/knowledge transfer to client
Preferred Qualifications
Previous consulting experience
Knowledge of Networking Professional Services project estimation and scoping experience
Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification required Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certifications required
Essential Functions
The position exists to provide consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
