Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Biometrics/IT systems. Manages system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning Provide problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Operates and maintains VTC equipment which includes scheduling OPMG/BIMA teleconferencing calls through AT&T, working with vendors to resolve hardware/communications issues and maintaining vendor contracts.
In support of the Property Book Officer (PBO), creates, updates and maintains a database of all equipment, their location/classification and to whom they are assigned. Additionally, works with the PBO to prepare equipment for turn-in.
Education/
Experience: Associates Degree and two years experience OR High School and 7 years of experience. Information Management Officer certification preferred; IMCEN/ITA experience preferred. Experience with Pentagon networks a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
