Evangelical Homes of Michigan (EHM) is a multi-faceted health and human service organization that provides health care and home based services as well as housing to older adults and their families throughout southeast Michigan. Founded in 1879, EHM is one of the largest nonprofits of its kind and one of the oldest in the state, serving more than 3,200 older adults annually.
Position Overview:
We are eager to welcome a new, part-time Bus Driver to join in the continued mission and growth of our Independent and Assisted Living campus; Brecon Village, based in Saline, MI.
The Bus Driver will be responsible for the safe transportation of our Brecon Village Campus residents, to and from community activities, appointments, and wherever else as needed.
Job Duties for the Bus Driver include, but are not limited to:
Safely transport residents to various planned activities, doctor appointments and wherever else as needed.
Assist residents, along with their belongings and equipment, when entering and exiting the building and vehicle.
Ensure that the residents are properly secured in the vehicle.
Without interfering with your driving, interact and communicate with residents in a pleasant, congenial manner.
Maintain a comfortable vehicle temperature and environment for the residents, in accordance to their needs.
Provide safe transportation by abidingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
