About the role:
Fascinated by Big Data? Even more fascinated by Big Space Data? We're looking for a talented intern for our high-performance computing team.
Responsibilities:
Prototyping new technologies and techniques for our high-performance computing platform
Creating testing frameworks for various components of our system and analyzing/presenting those results
Supporting Operational needs in delivery of our SkyNode product
Involved in the full-stack: client GUIs and CLIs as well as back-end services and OS internals/configuration/tuning
Skills and
Experience:
Proficient in at least one programming language (C++, Java or PHP preferred)
Good Linux command-line skills
Strong communication skills
An insatiable desire to learn new technologies,Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
