KTA is immediately seeking 1-2 General Lab Technicians for the Department of Materials Testing. This position is located in the Rocky Hill, CT office.
Education and Experience
:
High School diploma/GED(required)
Prior Laboratory experience a plus
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills
:
Basic knowledge of materials (i.e. aggregates, asphalt, concrete)
Basic computer skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Good organization skills
Good writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to work for multiple professionals and balance competing demands
Physical Requirements
:
Close, distance, depth, and color vision
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to speak, read and write
Safely lift 40 pounds
Manual dexterity (manipulate instruments, etc.)
