Summary:
Serves as a key member of the Palmetto Primary Care multidisciplinary patient care team. The Registered Dietitian (RD) effectively collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality, efficient, and cost-effective healthcare services.
The RD conducts patient assessments, teaches classes, and provides individual counseling to improve the health & well- being of patients, members, and employees. Performs assigned duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of Palmetto Primary Care Physicians, supporting our mission, vision, and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
Works with Medical Staff to assure high quality, safe, and efficient care.
Conducts classes and individual consults for patients and their families, employees and the community in areas of acute and chronic disease management and health promotion
Responsible for assessing health education needs, teaching classes and providing individual counseling to improve the health & well-being of members and employees. Assure patients and their families have access to accurate and up-to-date health information.
Conducts advanced specialized classes and individual consults for patients and their families, employees and the community in areas of chronic disease management and health promotion.
Promotes healthEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
