ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a leading service organization in the trucking industry and are located in north Nashville; they are looking to hire a Staff Accountant. The company boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its' employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:
Weekly payroll processing - coordination with 3rd party processor
Preparation of monthly PR JE's and related account analysis.
Fixed asset maintenance, monthly reconciliation to GL and analysis
Depreciation and other equipment related JE's monthly
Physical damage insurance reporting and analysis
Various other duties as required.
Experience for the Staff Accountant include:
Proven ability to be trusted with highly sensitive information.
Comfort with weekly deadlines.
Highly motivated - works with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong Excel skills.
MS Access skills a plus.
Trucking industry experience a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
