Are you a Business Analyst (Decisioning Systems) looking for a new challenging opportunity?
Optomi, in partnership with a leading consumer finance company, is seeking a Business Analyst (Decisioning Systems) for their Bedford, Texas location.
Successful candidates responsibilities will include reporting directly to the Manager of Decisioning Systems and is responsible for managing rules coded into the companies proprietary decisioning software, including creation of new rule sets, conducting regression testing to ensure the end product works as designed, coordinating user acceptance testing, and managing all decision engine based testing across both the online and storefront financial services, including marketing tests, credit decisioning tests, and other testing needs.

Must have 5 years or more of qualified experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, decision engine or rules engine management, IT testing procedures, software delivery, or similar experience.
Must have SQL and/or SAS programming skills. Preferably in a consulting or financial services environment.
Knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or other data management software.
Background in testing procedures, especially regression testing are very valuable.
Proven ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights around the business.
Demonstrated ability to an analyze data and provide valuable business insights and suggestions.
The incumbent must possess strong written, communication, time management, organizational and analytical skills. They must be self-motivated and results oriented with superior attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree or relevant cumulative experience.

Responsibilities:
Deliver decision engine changes quickly and accurately, with documentation, testing and backup procedures including failure redundancies and mitigation plans.
Manage champion/challenger and multivariate testing queues, including test design and subsequent analysis of results.
Work with model development team and portfolio managers to interpret results and create presentation of test findings, including recommendations based on those findings.
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Develop new rule sets in the company's proprietary decision engine software.
Conduct and coordinate various testing including regression testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the delivered product (rule sets) meet the business need and work as designed.
Manage and help prioritize testing queue, including analysis of test results.
Help to ensure appropriate data storage and test design to ensure measurable result sets.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
